Webinars

These webinars will provide you with access to expert advice on a wide range of relevant topics, and the chance to consider what this means for your individual event.

Please note there is no charge to attend, but you do need to register in advance. The webinars will be held on Microsoft Teams, and a link will be sent out closer to the date.

Emergency Services & Events
Thursday 2 October 2025, 2-3pm
Learn about the role the emergency services play in events with representatives from Police Scotland, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, and the Scottish Ambulance Service. They will review services provided at recent summer events, and update you on future plans.
The session speakers are:
- Chief Inspector Brian Fraser (Police Scotland)
- Area Commander Garry Marshall (Scottish Fire & Rescue Service)
- Business Support Manager Lisa Forrest (Scottish Ambulance Service)
There will also be an opportunity for questions and feedback. This webinar follows a similar session held in March 2025.

Event Insurance
Tuesday 7 October 2025, 10-11am
This webinar is delivered in partnership with The Purple Guide. It will provide an expert overview of the role of an insurance broker from the perspective of you as event organiser, and give a summary of the information available within the Purple Guide in relation to insurance.
The session speakers are:
